PLEASE CONSIDER:
We are just working over the Fly-by Wire manual.
But a lot of FS-Communicator- user are asking for possibilities to test the software prior to the official release of the new builds.
So this user are now able to download and test the new build. All old functions of prior builds of FS-Communicator are still existing and the old class-files are full compatible.
But it makes no sense to test "Fly by Wire" without manual. There is a really small chance that FBW will work also without a jumping aircraft in your Flightdeck, because usually there is a need of about 3-5 hours to set and test all parameters !
Please consider, that you will get the best results, if FS-Communicator will run on client-computers in a WideFS network. FS2004 will need a lot of CPU-power and therefore no constant FSUIPC-polling intervall will be possible. Especially for using the Fly by Wire - Module it is recommended to run FS-Communicator on a client without any other WideFS-client software like PM, EICAS- hcsdt or what ever. Otherwise you have to maintain, that FS-Communicator will get enough access-time to WideFS (for example changing usertimer-setting in PM-ini-file will help to get more access time).
Also with running the "Fly by Wire"-option there is not much need for CPU-time. We run FS-Communicator on a 300Mhz Notebook with a 100BaseTx Interface in our flightdeck..
The official release of V2.0. will be around the 11th of January 2004.
